All foreign visitors entering the Republic of Korea must possess a valid passport. Delegates, except those from countries who have visa exemption agreements with Korea, should apply to a Korean diplomatic mission in their countries for visas prior to departure. For details, delegates are advised to contact the Korean Embassy in their countries or view the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade website at (https:/www.mofat.go.kr).

ICA 2022 registrants are able to download the invitation letter from “My Page (online registration page)". If registrants need a notarized invitation letter or the original copy of the letter, please contact ICA2022 secretariat (info@ica2022korea.org). An additional fee could be requested. Please note that the notarized invitation letter will only be issued when your identification is verified and your affiliation is closely related to the ICA2022.

Immigration Guidelines

K-ETA

  • -The K-ETA is a travel authorization that travelers are required to receive by submitting their travel information online before visiting Korea.
  • -K-ETA is required for nationals from 112 visa-free entry countries.
  • -Visa-free foreign visitors must apply a "K-ETA (Korean Electronic Travel Authorization)" at least 72 hours before departure. K-ETA approval does not guarantee entry to Republic of Korea. For more information, please visit K-ETA website.

COVID-19 Guidelines

Required documents and preparation for Foreigners

  • Notice regarding the suspension of mandatory PCR test within 1 day after entry(10.1(Sat) 0:00AM~)
  • Notice regarding the suspension of COVID-19 testing prior to entering Korea for overseas entrants(9.3(Sat) 0:00AM ~)
    • -Beginning September 3, 2022, 0:00 AM(Saturday), the requirement for inbound travelers to submit pre-entry inspections(PCRs, RATs) and negative confirmations will be suspended, so please refer to this information if you are entering Korea
    • -However, the duty to conduct the first inspection day after entering the country will remain in force. In this regard, persons entering the country are required to undergo a first-day inspection and to report the results to the relevant health center or the quarantine information pre-entry system(Q-CODE).

  • -Incheon Airport COVID-19 Testing Center provides COVID-19 test and issues certificate for inbound and outbound passengers.
  • -Incheon Airport manages 2 COVID-19 Testing Centers(East / West) at T1 and 2 COVID-19 Testing Center(East / West) at T2.
  • -Incheon Airport COVID-19 Testing Center offers following tests : ①RT-PCR ②Antigen/Antibody.
  • -Please select testing center and time at your convenience since all testing centers offers same type of tests at same price.
