Thank you for your interest in the 24th International Congress on Acoustics (ICA 2022) to be held in Korea from October 24-28, 2022. 

We are currently in the abstract acceptance stage, which will close on March 15, 2022.

Many people have questioned the congress format considering the current pandemic situation in recent days. Actually, nobody can tell decisively how COVID-19 and its variants will progress this year, but, as an organizer of an international conference with a large gathering, our responsibility has been clear and unchanged: Securing the safety of all participants, organizing an academically high-quality, top-tier conference, preparing live discussion and informative exchanges among participants, and supporting an enjoyable experience of Korean heritage, culture, and hospitality.

As already announced, ICA 2022 will be a face-to-face meeting in principle with the hope that the pandemic quickly ceases or is eradicated by October, so there will be no restrictions or inconveniences in travel and no self-isolation period for quarantine purposes. However, if the pandemic situation does not improve and quarantine is still mandatory in Korea by mid-summer, we would like to offer a virtual option for participants who have difficulties in the travel to the venue. To this end, we would like to request a pre-recorded video file for all accepted full papers. We will notify you of further developments regarding the program operation and detailed guidelines for presenters soon.
